Coding Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, delegate, coordinate, and manage activities within the Coding Department.

• Support Quality and Compliance initiatives at R1 RCM.

• Supervise daily Coding operations, assign tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.

• Adhere to routine deadlines and work schedules.

• Accurately and promptly complete special projects and additional assigned responsibilities.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to enhance work processes and minimize non-compliance.

• Conduct staff performance evaluations, including initial and 90-day assessments as well as annual reviews.

• Engage in Performance Improvement initiatives.

• Build collaborative relationships with onshore and offshore colleagues.

• Act as a liaison between hourly employees and management for training, quality assurance, and general inquiries.

• Participate in weekly operations meetings to promote performance excellence.

• Address and resolve client concerns with urgency.

• Report directly to the HIM Coding Ops Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Coding experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Self-motivated with a focus on achieving measurable goals.

• Exceptional analytical skills.

• Professional and composed demeanor.

• Resourceful, task-oriented, and open to challenging the status quo.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Preferred: 2 years of leadership experience in coding.
