This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits, educate, and supervise coders regarding E/M levels, procedures, and diagnosis coding, including CPT/ICD-10 and HCPCS.

• Offer support for provider education as necessary.

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership to pinpoint areas requiring targeted education for production coders.

• Create, administer, implement, and refresh focused and ongoing coding education programs and materials for coding associates.

• Ensure that Auditor production standards, quality assurance requirements, and compliance with auditing principles and guidelines are upheld.

• Provide constructive evaluations and feedback to aid in the development of instructional materials, including course plans, objectives, and evaluation tools.

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate education and training initiatives for coding teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• Necessary certification (one or more): CCS, COC, RHIA, RHIT, or CPC.

• Previous work experience in production coding, auditing, coder education and training, or coding leadership where you honed coding, quality review, and training abilities.

• Specialty experience in Ancillary, Surgical, Emergency Medicine, and Evaluation & Management Coding.

• Experience in training both onshore and offshore coders on CPT/ICD-10 and HCPCS.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and corrective measures while fostering a motivating environment.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite to prepare and present training materials, convey feedback and recommendations, and report and analyze data.
