Coding and OASIS Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct coding for home health services, including hospice care

• Assess OASIS evaluations for home care and/or hospice settings

• Perform duties remotely as a full-time coder and OASIS reviewer

• Efficiently and productively utilize EMR systems, acquiring new systems as necessary

• Independently complete coding and OASIS tasks while effectively collaborating with team members

• Achieve weekly productivity targets that are linked to a productivity bonus

• Work Monday to Friday during flexible hours within the specified office-hour framework

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed therapist

• Experience in coding for home health or home hospice services; solely hospice experience is not sufficient

• Required coding certification: BCHH-C or HCS-D

• Required OASIS certification: COS-C, COQS, or HCS-O

• At least 3 years of experience with coding and OASIS certification

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in routine coding and OASIS review

• Current focus on coding and OASIS, including at least the last year

• Familiarity with at least one EMR system and a quick learner of additional systems

• Reliable high-speed internet connection

• Availability for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week

• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and following directions in English

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Capability to work independently and make decisions

• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

• Skill in managing work under pressure

• Adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail

• Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Microsoft Teams, with the ability to navigate multiple tabs

• RN License is required

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
