CMM Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist fellow programmers with their tasks.

• Develop CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS for diverse feature types and stages of machined components.

• Ensure reliable inspection processes for roughed, semi-finished, and finished products.

• Guarantee precise representation of part features in accordance with GD&T standards.

• Keep thorough documentation of inspection programs, measurement data locations, inspection reports, and records of non-conformance.

• Engage in daily communication with Quality and Manufacturing engineers, as well as production teams.

• Determine next steps, address quality challenges and opportunities, and execute corrective actions.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and enhance inspection procedures.

• Support the training of inspectors on CMM operation, inspection methods, and quality standards.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality regulations, and company policies.

• Utilize root cause analysis tools to examine and resolve quality issues.

• Implement preventive strategies to prevent recurrence.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.

• Over 3 years of experience in CMM programming with PCDMIS.

• Capability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without future sponsorship.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience in PC-DMIS programming.

• Knowledge of manual layout inspection techniques and features produced by turning and milling processes.

• Aerospace experience and familiarity with nickel, titanium, and aluminum is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to accurately interpret blueprints and sketches.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
