Cloud Specialist – DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Stay updated with the rapid advancements of AWS and continuously adapt to its changing services and features.

• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.

• Optimize costs by balancing performance, scalability, and efficient resource management.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions for complex environments.

• Diagnose and resolve complex performance and scalability issues in distributed cloud systems.

• Foster collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a DevOps culture.

• Work with AWS CodeX, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deep knowledge of AWS: Understanding of core AWS services, automation tools, and best practices.

• Cloud security experience: Ability to implement and lead security strategies, identity and access management, data protection, and incident response.

• Programming skills: Proficiency in writing efficient code in languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NetCore for task automation and integrations.

• Serverless development experience: Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologies to create scalable and efficient solutions.

• Mastery of container management tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools for deploying and managing containerized applications.

• CI/CD experience: Ability to design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Observability skills: Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and others to monitor system performance and health.

• Cloud networking knowledge: Capability to design and configure secure, high-performance networks in AWS.

• FinOps experience: Skill in analyzing and optimizing cloud costs using tools like Cost Explorer and Budgets.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices: Understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automated infrastructure management.
