Cloud Specialist, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Stay updated with the rapid evolution of AWS: AWS services and features are constantly being updated, necessitating ongoing learning and adaptation.

• Ensure cloud security: Implement and maintain best security practices in a complex and ever-changing environment.

• Automate complex processes: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions for intricate environments.

• Troubleshoot complex performance and scalability issues: Diagnose and resolve problems in distributed cloud systems.

• Foster collaboration and a DevOps culture: Promote collaboration between development and operations teams and encourage a DevOps culture within the organization.

• Key Tools and Technologies: AWS CodeX, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Action.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of AWS: Understanding of key AWS services, automation tools, and best practices.

• Experience in cloud security: Ability to implement and lead security strategies, identity and access management, data protection, and incident response.

• Programming skills: Capability to write efficient code in languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or .NetCore to automate tasks and integrations.

• Experience in serverless development: Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologies to create scalable and efficient solutions.

• Proficiency in container management tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools for deploying and managing containerized applications.

• Experience in CI/CD: Ability to design and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices: Comprehension of agile methodologies and the ability to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure in an automated manner.
