This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assess customer opportunities, requirements, and the suitability of NetApp offerings within Google Cloud.
• Create solutions that encompass software, Cloud services, and professional services.
• Conduct technical workshops to showcase solutions.
• Deliver solution-selling presentations at customer and partner briefings, as well as during Google and NetApp sales meetings and corporate events.
• Design and implement proofs-of-concept in customer environments.
• Transition new customer acquisitions to Customer Success and/or Professional Services.
• Engage in or facilitate industry meet-ups and user groups.
• Publish reference architectures, notable wins, and best practices for both internal and external audiences.
• Keep customer opportunity status updated in Salesforce.
• Remain informed about advancements in public cloud services.
• Develop and sustain technical expertise.
• Enhance or create processes and techniques utilized by Sales and Technical teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree coupled with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Google Cloud certifications are advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding of Cloud concepts and technologies, especially Google Cloud.
• Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• A passion for addressing customer business challenges through Cloud technology solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI concepts and practical experience using AI-enabled tools and capabilities.
• A motivated, results-oriented individual capable of achieving customer success with minimal supervision.
• Experience engaging with customers in the as-a-Service sector.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to evolving requirements and technologies.
• Experience executing proofs-of-concept for software, hardware, or Cloud-based solutions in a pre-sales capacity.
• Familiarity with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) principles.
• Understanding of how application workloads such as SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, VMware, and self-managed databases utilize file and block storage in a Cloud setting.
• Knowledge of container orchestration concepts and solutions, preferably Kubernetes, is advantageous.
• On-premises infrastructure experience and knowledge of data migration methodologies are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the designated area to customer locations and occasionally beyond.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a bonus.
