Cloud Networking Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute cloud architecture that underpins AI and voice services on Azure.

• Establish network connectivity between Azure services, enterprise systems, APIs, and customer-facing interfaces.

• Set up and oversee Private Endpoints, Private Link, VNET integration, DNS configuration, and secure service-to-service communications.

• Create secure connectivity patterns for Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Speech Services, Microsoft Foundry, and other relevant Azure offerings.

• Configure load balancing, traffic management, API exposure, and networking components to facilitate real-time voice communication.

• Support WebSocket-based and low-latency communication methodologies for voice interactions.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across the entire platform.

• Address requirements for resilience, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with security and risk management teams to ensure enterprise and regulatory compliance.

• Diagnose networking, connectivity, performance, and infrastructure challenges during implementation and production launch.

• Create a secure, scalable, enterprise-ready foundation for a voice-enabled AI Assistant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and deploying enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, encompassing VNETs, NSGs, Private Link, ExpressRoute, VPN connectivity, DNS, and firewall configurations.

• Experience in creating secure cloud architectures for customer-facing applications and APIs.

• Familiarity with supporting AI and data platforms within Azure environments.

• Strong grasp of network security, identity management, authentication, and authorization models.

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and operational monitoring frameworks.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).

• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex networking and cloud infrastructure issues.

• Preferred: Experience with real-time communication platforms, voice applications, telephony integrations, or contact center solutions.

• Preferred: Knowledge of WebSocket architectures, streaming APIs, and low-latency application design.

• Preferred: Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Speech Services, and Microsoft Foundry environments.

• Preferred: Experience in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or financial services.

• Preferred: Understanding of enterprise security frameworks, zero-trust principles, and cloud governance practices.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting GenAI and agent-based AI platforms in production.
