This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and sustain network automation tools utilized for configuring and managing numerous datacenters, cloud environments, and office networks that are operational 24/7.
• Create automated configurations.
• Maintain Ansible playbooks.
• Utilize network RESTful APIs for automation purposes.
• Resolve connectivity problems.
• Implement security measures across both existing and next-generation platforms.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and act as an escalation point for critical issues.
• Collaborate with global colleagues, restaurant partners, and engineering teams across various time zones.
• Capability to solve intricate problems with straightforward and elegant solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and acquire new technical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with other engineering teams.
• Advanced understanding of AWS and cloud networking within hybrid network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols, including EVPN-VXLAN, Ether-Channel (LACP, MC-LAG), and virtual chassis.
• Intermediate proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python.
• Intermediate knowledge of configuration automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Claude, Cursor, or similar.
• Understanding of dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
• Knowledge of Layer 3, 4, and 7 load-balancing methodologies and protocols.
• Experience with high-availability network and system architectures.
• Experience with JunOS, PanOS, ArubaOS, or IOS/NX-OS/ASA-OS.
• Proficient in troubleshooting network issues within virtualized environments.
• Experience using network monitoring and packet capture tools.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and serve as an escalation point for critical issues.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Preferred: experience in supporting F5 LTM platforms.
• Preferred: experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: familiarity with Jenkins and CircleCI.
• Preferred: skills in Linux administration and other SRE practices.
• Preferred: experience with Jira and Git.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
