Systems and Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, and implement new on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

• Automate deployments to guarantee swift and dependable production releases.

• Maintain Linux and Windows servers in both operational and secure conditions.

• Ensure high availability of services.

• Serve as the escalation point for intricate Level 3 incidents.

• Conduct root cause analyses and post-mortem evaluations.

• Lead projects involving migration, cloud hybridization, and performance optimization.

• Define and test backup strategies along with disaster recovery or business continuity plans.

• Create technical architecture documentation.

• Standardize and industrialize operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat) as well as Windows Server.

• Substantial experience with VMware or Hyper-V.

• Ability to script using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Familiarity with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.

• Experience utilizing Zabbix or Centreon monitoring tools.

• Proficiency with Jira or ServiceNow ticketing systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an engineering school, university, or an IT or operations-focused program.

• Proven initial experience in a related role.

• Strong written and verbal technical English skills are crucial.

• Attention to detail, technical curiosity, and a collaborative spirit.
