Cloud Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Co-creating and enhancing network architecture within the Google Cloud Platform environment.

• Building and developing hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions.

• Designing scalable and resilient LAN/WAN network topologies.

• Advancing the Software Defined Networking approach and network configuration automation.

• Designing and developing GCP architecture, including VPC, NCC, Cloud Router, routing, load balancing, Cloud NAT, and Cloud DNS.

• Developing hybrid solutions utilizing Cloud Interconnect, VPC Peering, and Cloud VPN.

• Designing highly available and resilient network environments.

• Configuring network environments in GCP.

• Automating provisioning using Terraform, IaC, Ansible, and CI/CD.

• Promoting the GitOps methodology in the infrastructure domain.

• Implementing security policies and segmentation using Fortinet and Palo Alto NGFW.

• Managing Cisco infrastructure, including ISR/ASR, Catalyst, and Nexus.

• Implementing IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and GRE tunnels.

• Diagnosing complex incidents in Data Center and GCP environments.

• Optimizing network performance and reliability.

• Developing documentation and operational standards.

• Collaborating with technology and business teams on network solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Networking within GCP.

• Strong networking foundations at the CCNA/CCNP level or equivalent.

• Experience with automation and familiarity with the GitOps approach.

• Background in network security using Fortinet and Palo Alto.

• Good knowledge of dynamic routing protocols OSPF and BGP.

• Experience with IPSec VPN and SSL VPN solutions.

• Willingness to participate in on-call duties.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Category B driver's license.

• Additional advantage: experience in monitoring, observability, and alerting in network environments.

• Additional advantage: knowledge of Cisco ACI.
