Cloud Integrations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide support and ensure a seamless migration experience for all clients of 11:11.

• Strategically plan, provision, migrate, and optimize cloud-based environments for customers.

• Execute migration services that are in line with the integration strategy of 11:11 Systems.

• Assess incoming migration requests and coordinate technical requirements with the team.

• Serve as a technical escalation point for Cloud Integrations to address customer migration and integration challenges.

• Collaborate with Operations, Infrastructure, Development, and other internal teams to escalate issues as needed.

• Manage project tickets and handle ticket escalations within your area of responsibility.

• Adhere to best practices in service management.

• Provide exceptional customer service while fostering professional relationships.

• Mitigate migration-related incidents and problems effectively.

• Work with vendors and escalate customer tickets to vendor support when necessary.

• Improve team efficiency by taking ownership of new and diverse requests.

• Handle company data and information in accordance with data-handling agreements, procedures, and policies.

• Review and comply with company policies, data privacy practices, annual compliance training, and policy acknowledgments.

• Perform other assigned duties as required.

• Report directly to the Manager of Cloud Integrations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on, enterprise VMware administrator.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with VMware management tools (vCenter, vCloud Director, VMware Configuration Manager).

• Proven experience in managing scalable, highly available, mission-critical virtualized VMware infrastructures.

• Background in implementing and managing multiple virtual environments.

• Strong understanding and experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, OpenStack, AWS, etc.

• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure services, such as Backup as a Service (BaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).

• At least 4 years of experience as a technical support representative with significant hands-on troubleshooting experience.

• Excellent communication skills, high energy, a positive attitude, and a desire for professional growth.

• Detail-oriented and goal-driven with proven technical knowledge and consultative skills.

• Ability to independently pursue positive outcomes for assigned tasks.

• Must be eligible to work in the assigned country without sponsorship for a visa.
