This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Facilitate and ensure a seamless migration experience for all clients of 11:11.
• Strategically plan, provision, migrate, and optimize customers’ cloud-based environments.
• Provide migration services that align with the integration strategy of 11:11 Systems.
• Assess incoming migration requests and collaborate with the team to outline technical requirements.
• Serve as a technical escalation point to resolve issues related to customer migration and integration.
• Collaborate and escalate issues with Operations, Infrastructure, Development, vendors, and other teams.
• Manage project tickets and escalate tickets within the designated area of responsibility.
• Adhere to best practices in service management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships.
• Ensure that migration-related incidents and problems are addressed effectively.
• Respond to escalated customer tickets and engage vendor support in a timely manner.
• Improve team efficiency by taking initiative on new and varied requests.
• Handle company data in accordance with data-handling agreements, procedures, and policies.
• Complete annual compliance training and acknowledge policies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience as a hands-on, technical enterprise VMware administrator.
• Extensive understanding and practical experience with VMware management tools (vCenter, vCloud Director, VMware Configuration Manager).
• Experience in managing scalable, highly available, and mission-critical virtualized VMware infrastructures.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing multiple virtual environments.
• Strong comprehension of and experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, and AWS.
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure services including BaaS, IaaS, and DRaaS.
• At least 4 years of experience as a technical support representative with significant hands-on troubleshooting capability.
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, a positive attitude, and a strong desire for professional growth.
• Detail-oriented and goal-driven, with demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.
• Ability to independently pursue positive outcomes for assigned tasks.
• Must be eligible to work in the assigned country without requiring visa sponsorship.
