This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Provide support and ensure a seamless migration experience for all clients of 11:11.
• Plan, provision, migrate, and enhance services for cloud-based customers.
• Execute migration services that align with the integration strategy of 11:11 Systems.
• Assess incoming migration requests and coordinate technical requirements with the team.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for customer migration and integration issues.
• Collaborate and escalate issues with Operations, Infrastructure, Development, and other internal teams.
• Manage project tickets and handle ticket escalations within your area of responsibility.
• Adhere to best practices in service management.
• Provide exceptional customer service while fostering professional relationships.
• Address and resolve migration-related incidents and issues.
• Work with vendors and escalate tickets to vendor support when necessary.
• Enhance team productivity by taking charge of new and varied requests.
• Manage company data in accordance with data-handling agreements, procedures, and policies.
• Review and comply with company policies, data privacy practices, compliance training, and policy acknowledgments.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of recent, hands-on experience as an enterprise VMware administrator.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with VMware management tools (vCenter, vCloud Director, VMware Configuration Manager).
• Proven experience in managing scalable, highly available, mission-critical virtualized VMware infrastructures.
• Experience in implementing and managing multiple virtual environments.
• Strong understanding of and experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, OpenStack, AWS, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure services such as BaaS, IaaS, and DRaaS.
• Over 4 years of experience as a technical support representative with significant hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, energetic attitude, positive demeanor, and a desire for professional development.
• Detail-oriented and goal-focused, with demonstrated technical expertise and consultative abilities.
• Capacity to independently pursue positive outcomes for assigned tasks.
• Must be eligible to work in the assigned country without requiring visa sponsorship.
