This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +1 more country.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms across hybrid environments utilizing AWS and Azure.
• Create, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure that supports both containerized and virtualized workloads.
• Utilize KubeVirt to integrate the management of virtual machines and containers.
• Develop and sustain production observability platforms to enhance Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) and overall system reliability.
• Set and uphold DevSecOps standards, covering aspects like registry security, image scanning, container security, access management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and compliance frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Implement and manage GitOps deployment workflows based on Argo CD.
• Spearhead cloud modernization projects and transition legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Define and uphold policies for cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance via mentoring, design evaluations, and collaboration across different functions.
• Implement multi-network pod configurations utilizing Multus CNI.
• Oversee GitOps-based Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Argo CD and Helm.
• Create reusable reference architectures and automation frameworks.
• Design and manage Kubernetes networking for both bare-metal and hybrid clusters, including implementing MetalLB for load balancing.
• Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes networking issues related to CNI plugins, secondary interfaces, IP Address Management (IPAM), and traffic routing.
• Connect networking configurations with KubeVirt workloads that require multiple network attachments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or a similar position.
• Proven experience in designing and managing production-level Kubernetes clusters for enterprise-grade workloads.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure production infrastructures, including the design of hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines utilizing Argo CD and JFrog Artifactory.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience in Linux system administration within production settings.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including Harbor registry security, access management, and compliance adherence.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions for production environments.
