Cloud & FinOps Engineer – AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients and work with platforms including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Act as a primary contact and implement solutions for technical inquiries related to Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, and migration strategies.

• Create and design cloud migration strategies while incorporating FinOps principles.

• Offer technical recommendations for the deployment of cloud solutions across various platforms and execute them effectively.

• Counsel clients on the adoption of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.

• Assess systems and evaluate software engineering tools and processes.

• Develop system specifications tailored to customer environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures.

• Initial cloud certifications, such as CKAD, are preferred.

• Experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or similar tools.

• Enthusiasm for AI-powered systems in relation to FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) are required.

• Experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management is advantageous.

• Understanding of serverless technologies and API management.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and auditing tools on cloud platforms, such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Elasticsearch.

• Basic knowledge of FinOps and its related principles.

• Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
