This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.
• Deploy, oversee, and evaluate enterprise network architecture.
• Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud infrastructure along with core services.
• Collaborate with Azure Databricks, ACR, APIM, Kubernetes, SQL, Storage, and CI/CD deployments.
• Utilize infrastructure as code through Bicep, Terraform, and ARM Templates.
• Implement Azure networking architecture and native core services within corporate firewalls in a zero-trust framework.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership for infrastructure and application design.
• Standardize and consolidate infrastructure and applications across Sutter Health and its affiliates.
• Analyze architecture requirements and perform design, product evaluations, selection, and technology integration.
• Formulate enterprise infrastructure, data management, application technology strategies, standards, and solution architecture.
• Lead information services systems projects by promoting collaboration, coordination, and execution across multiple teams.
• Anticipate business and regulatory challenges, suggesting process or service enhancements.
• Spearhead complex projects and devise project execution strategies.
• Resolve unique, widespread business challenges and influence program, project, or service direction.
• Equivalent experience will be accepted as a substitute for the required degree or diploma.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of recent experience in the field.
• Proficiency in GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps for version control.
• Expertise in Terraform or Bicep for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience in Azure architecture, engineering, implementation, and support.
• Advanced skills in Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes, and Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, PowerShell/Bash, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise strategic architecture framework plans.
• Advanced knowledge in the engineering, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of server and storage platforms.
• Expert knowledge in visualization technologies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver work within deadlines.
• Capability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures critically.
• Skill in establishing collaborative working relationships across Sutter Health and with external organizations.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Expertise in creating technical and user-level documentation.
• Extensive knowledge in own job family and a broad understanding of other job families.
• Ability to foresee business and regulatory issues and propose enhancements.
• Capacity to lead projects with significant risk and complexity.
• Proficient in solving unique problems through innovative and conceptual thinking.
• Ability to influence program, project, or service direction and resource distribution.
• Competence in communicating complex ideas, anticipating objections, and persuading senior-level stakeholders.
