This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Design and establish the foundational DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline architecture utilizing GitHub Actions for automating tenant onboarding.
• Automate the provisioning of tenant workspaces and onboarding workflows based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Ensure adherence to code quality standards, perform dependency scanning, implement policy-as-code, set up approval gates, and maintain comprehensive audit trails.
• Facilitate secure environment promotion across development, testing, and production stages.
• Provide continuous 24x7 monitoring of CI/CD pipelines and address any failures that arise.
• Update and maintain the Platform Operations Runbook along with IaC Baselines.
• Guarantee that provisioning pipelines adhere to the 10-business-day service level agreement (SLA) to enhance tenant satisfaction.
• Manage AWS cloud environments utilizing EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Optimize both platform performance and costs effectively.
• Support operations characterized by high availability, scalability, security, and DevSecOps principles.
• An active Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) is required; candidates currently undergoing this process are not eligible.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Candidates must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information and must be able to obtain a government-issued security clearance.
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering is required.
• Proficiency in Terraform for automated IaC provisioning and management at an expert level.
• Experience in designing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including SAST/DAST/secrets scanning.
• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles for automating workspace deployment.
• Strong expertise in EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Knowledge of blue/green and canary deployment strategies is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM/Bicep is necessary.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps is important.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• A solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs is essential.
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Certified Developer certification is preferred.
• Current or recent experience with IRS contracts is strongly desirable.
• Additional qualifications such as cloud certifications, knowledge of monitoring tools, microservices architecture, and automated testing/deployment strategies are beneficial.
• Candidates will be subject to a government security investigation, which includes checks on criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and credit evaluation.
