This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.
• Design, implement, and uphold AWS-native cloud architectures utilizing serverless and cloud-native methodologies.
• Construct and oversee cloud infrastructure by applying Terraform and best practices for Infrastructure as Code.
• Create and deploy serverless solutions utilizing AWS Lambda.
• Containerize and launch workloads with Amazon ECS and AWS Fargate.
• Develop and sustain workflow orchestration through AWS Step Functions.
• Manage and integrate Amazon RDS along with associated cloud data services.
• Implement authentication and identity management systems using Amazon Cognito.
• Develop and enforce AWS IAM policies, roles, permissions, and governance standards.
• Facilitate integration with the Amazon Bedrock platform, covering model access, guardrails, AgentCore runtime, and knowledge base connectivity.
• Ensure security, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence throughout cloud environments.
• Design multi-account AWS setups and cross-account access strategies.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automate environments, and enhance platform observability.
• Assist in architecture reviews and provide technical insights on cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, and client stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade platforms.
• Participate in the establishment of AWS architecture standards and cloud governance initiatives.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or a comparable role.
• Strong practical AWS experience in production settings.
• Experience in designing and managing serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerized workloads and cloud deployment strategies.
• Experience supporting production-grade enterprise cloud platforms.
• Capability to work efficiently within interdisciplinary teams.
• Professional-level proficiency in English.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Fargate, RDS, Cognito, IAM, and Step Functions.
• Advanced understanding of Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and platform provisioning.
• Strong grasp of AWS security, identity management, governance, networking, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock platform services, including model access management, guardrails, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, collaborative software delivery practices, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong architectural reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional proficiency in French is a plus.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as Pharma, Healthcare, or GxP-compliant platforms is advantageous.
• Exposure to Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and analytics ecosystems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies is beneficial.
• Knowledge of multi-account AWS architectures, landing zones, and enterprise governance frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience participating in Architecture Review Boards and technical governance processes is a plus.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is beneficial.
