Cloud Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and manage secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate deployment processes.

• Assist in cloud migration and modernization efforts.

• Contribute to the development and support of Microsoft Fabric, data lake, and Azure data platform environments.

• Collaborate with AI teams to establish infrastructure that supports AI/ML initiatives.

• Oversee cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), networking, encryption, logging, and monitoring.

• Facilitate CI/CD, configuration management, and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies.

• Monitor cloud performance, resolve issues, and assist with disaster recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and governance.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with Terraform is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Shell, or comparable scripting languages.

• Familiarity with IAM, networking, security, monitoring, and cloud-native controls.

• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and automation practices.

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platforms, data lakes, or AI/ML infrastructure is highly desirable.

• Experience within healthcare, HIPAA, or HITRUST environments is an advantage.
