This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and overall IT support for the Enterprise Services SIOP application suite.
• Engage in support, planning, best-practice formulation, and collaborative meetings.
• Provision, install/configure, manage, and maintain Windows/Linux infrastructure in Azure or AWS cloud settings.
• Oversee server management along with logical and physical storage.
• Handle cross-platform authentication and access.
• Configure software and manage licenses.
• Collaborate with a small team on cloud initiatives and system support.
• Design and support both new and existing cloud application infrastructures.
• Supervise cloud operations and devise infrastructure for new workloads.
• Continuously enhance and advance cloud services.
• Administer RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows systems in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, best practices, procedures, and policies.
• Work efficiently within a geographically distributed team.
• Manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Independently collaborate with users to define concepts.
• Partner with a team member to automate manual off-hours tasks.
• Occasionally provide 24x7 support beyond standard working hours during the initial months.
• A minimum of a BS in MIS, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or 5 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience in lieu of a degree.
• More than 5 years of experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience in administering Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Strong understanding of computers, networks, servers, storage, and databases.
• Experience in server architecture and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proven ability to develop solutions and document technical issues.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, WSUS, and VMware.
• Experience in systems and networking administration that goes beyond basic account maintenance.
• Strong scripting capabilities, including PowerShell and Terraform/HCL.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Microsoft Azure certification(s) are preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience with Kinaxis Maestro is preferred.
• Experience utilizing AI tools in daily work is preferred.
