This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and provide support for AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
• Collaborate as a member of the global Cloud Operations team to maintain Rhapsody’s cloud-based services and customer environments.
• Adhere to established runbooks, operational procedures, and change management practices.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and respond to incidents in line with service expectations.
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and validation of cloud-based applications and services, specifically focusing on Rhapsody products.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting cloud infrastructure, applications, and customer environments.
• Conduct routine system health checks, maintenance tasks, and operational reviews.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams during support requests, incidents, maintenance, and service restoration.
• Work together with Engineering, Support, Product, Security, and other teams to enhance service reliability and operational readiness.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and operational knowledge articles.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily engineering workflows, including pull requests, testing, and debugging.
• Create reusable AI prompts and patterns customized for the codebase.
• Enhance efficiency and output quality by merging AI with engineering signals and refining workflows.
• Continue expanding knowledge of AWS, cloud operations, security practices, and Rhapsody products.
• One to two years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure support, technical support, or a related field; AWS experience is highly preferred.
• One to two years of experience in customer support or customer service within a technical setting.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, encompassing operating systems, networking, virtualization, scalability, security, and monitoring.
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems or applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to adhere to established processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work efficiently with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Willingness and ability to engage in an on-call rotation and support incident response and scheduled maintenance.
• Ability to follow existing documentation and create or update runbooks as necessary.
• Experience assisting customers with UK data protection, security, or healthcare connectivity requirements, including GDPR or HSCN considerations, is preferred.
• AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, is preferred.
• Experience with DevOps, infrastructure automation, or operational tooling is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of a scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, is preferred.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, or service management tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with Rhapsody products or healthcare integration environments is preferred.
• Interest in utilizing automation and AI responsibly to enhance operational quality and efficiency is preferred.
• Openness to adopting AI tools and continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency while upholding quality, security, and ethical standards.
