This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Manage and operate BeyondTrust's cloud infrastructure across all environments.
• Design, implement, and secure multi-account environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Create, deploy, and support AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, VPC Endpoints, and routing services.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules, manage remote states, and oversee version-controlled configurations.
• Construct and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, apply patches, verify backup and recovery processes, and enhance infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
• Address cloud connectivity challenges involving DNS, routing, load balancing, and application communication.
• Provide after-hours support as necessary and document post-incident reviews and follow-up actions.
• Manage identity federation, authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls.
• Integrate, oversee, and support third-party cloud access, operations, security, and auditing tools.
• Implement governance standards through controlled and auditable changes.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to develop reusable automation.
• Generate and maintain architecture diagrams, Terraform standards, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and disaster recovery documentation.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, securing, and managing extensive cloud environments in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• At least 2 years of practical experience with core AWS services, including networking, compute, storage, load balancing, monitoring, and automation services.
• Over 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining Terraform modules or other infrastructure as code solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS IAM, encompassing roles, policies, permissions, and access management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including CIDR, routing, DNS, security controls, Transit Gateway, and VPC connectivity services.
• More than 2 years of experience with Git workflows, version control, scripting, configuration management, and automated infrastructure testing and validation.
• At least 2 years of experience in building or supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar automation platforms.
• Over 2 years of scripting experience in Python (preferred), PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working within ITSM and change management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer, or equivalent cloud certification.
• More than 3 years of experience in two or more of the following: AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and multi-account governance; AWS networking including VPC, IPAM, WAF, and hybrid network architectures; GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, or CI/CD platform administration; cloud observability, infrastructure security, or regulated environments; cloud controls aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2.0, or FedRAMP Moderate.
