This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices and principles of Infrastructure as Code.

• Oversee and enhance Windows IIS-based services to ensure web application availability and performance.

• Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated software delivery.

• Develop and sustain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration tasks.

• Collaboratively enhance deployment processes and application performance.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Establish and maintain best practices for infrastructure security.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure and applications.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and contribute innovative ideas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in setting up and managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, ECS, SQS, and VPC.

• Familiarity with an Infrastructure as Code tool, specifically HashiCorp Terraform.

• Expertise in Windows IIS-based services, including the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of web applications and websites hosted on IIS servers.

• Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation, task scheduling, and system administration, including the creation, modification, and troubleshooting of complex scripts.

• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.

• Understanding of version control systems/Git and collaborative repository work.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Experience in monitoring PostgreSQL databases is a plus.
