📋 Description

• Design and oversee secure, high-performance network communications across hybrid and multicloud infrastructures.

• Ensure uninterrupted connectivity between GCP, various cloud providers, and on-premise/vendor networks.

• Manage and optimize GCP infrastructure, including VPCs, Cloud Router, Interconnects, Load Balancers, and DNS services.

• Apply Zero Trust networking principles effectively.

• Configure and uphold security perimeters utilizing GCP Cloud Armor, focusing on rate-limiting, bot protection, and IP allowlists.

• Enforce rigorous Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance protocols.

• Supervise and maintain secure network pathways for Banxico and SPEI integrations.

• Coordinate intricate maintenance windows to minimize disruptions.

• Monitor network performance and analyze latencies within a microservices architecture using Datadog, SigNoz, Google Cloud Monitoring, and Wazuh.

• Troubleshoot routing and connectivity challenges effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer, or Cloud Architect.

• Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking and security components (VPC, Cloud Armor, Cloud VPN/Interconnect, IAM).

• Proven experience managing multicloud architectures and hybrid connectivity solutions.

• Strong comprehension of network protocols (BGP, IPsec, TCP/IP, DNS) and secure API communication methodologies.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, predominantly Terraform, for managing complex network states.

• Familiarity with security standards in the financial sector and the operational rigor necessary for managing critical connections (e.g., SPEI/Banxico).

• Outstanding analytical skills for diagnosing multi-layered network issues.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and network providers during essential maintenance operations.
