Cloud Engineer – AI Solutions, Manager

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage end-to-end cloud environments for both client and internal applications.

• Develop and oversee Infrastructure as Code utilizing tools such as Terraform and CDK.

• Architect and establish data engineering pipelines alongside AI/ML and LLM infrastructure.

• Configure DevOps pipelines for data engineering, AI, and various solution components.

• Containerize and deploy applications across cloud-native computing and serverless platforms.

• Establish and sustain foundations for logging, monitoring, alerting, and cost management.

• Guarantee secure deployments concerning identity, networking, and secrets management.

• Execute compliance measures that align with the requirements of regulated environments.

• Create runbooks, operational documentation, and facilitate support handoff processes.

• Evaluate infrastructure designs and Infrastructure as Code generated by others.

• Act as the cloud lead during client engagements and present infrastructure decisions to client stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and client IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets engagement needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or platform infrastructure.

• Capability to design and provision cloud infrastructure on at least one major cloud platform.

• Expertise in AI/ML and LLM infrastructure on at least one significant cloud platform.

• Hands-on production experience with Infrastructure as Code.

• Familiarity with establishing Hub and Spoke architectures across development, QA, staging, and production environments.

• In-depth understanding of cloud networking and security.

• Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.

• Flexibility in living locations across the United States or Canada.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client demands.
