Cloud Developer – Identity & Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in the creation of a centralized IAM/PAM solution, encompassing architectural choices to production operations.

• Develop and maintain cloud-native services utilizing Kubernetes.

• Automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.

• Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Influence the management of identities, roles, and privileged access throughout their lifecycle.

• Execute provisioning, authorization, governance, and audit processes.

• Integrate current systems via REST APIs.

• Contribute to a sustainable, long-term integration framework.

• Convert regulatory standards from the BSI IT-Grundschutz framework and similar guidelines into technical implementations.

• Collaborate on security-sensitive initiatives for public-sector clients and critical infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Proficient in using Git as a daily tool.

• Practical knowledge of Linux, automation, and scripting languages like Bash and Python.

• Initial hands-on experience with DevOps or DevSecOps, preferably in building or managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of software design principles, REST API concepts, and integration architectures.

• Eagerness to develop deep expertise in Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and cloud operations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, especially in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.

• Knowledge of IAM or PAM, particularly in cloud-based settings.

• Background in managing access, IAM/PAM, and identity lifecycle governance.

• Awareness of regulatory requirements for critical environments, particularly BSI IT-Grundschutz, VS-NfD, and KRITIS.

• Experience in the public sector or similarly regulated domains.
