This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across multi-account cloud environments, emphasizing cost efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines that facilitate frequent and secure deployments.
• Construct automation workflows utilizing n8n, Zapier, custom scripts, and APIs to minimize manual operational and compliance tasks.
• Incorporate AI coding assistants and agentic tools into engineering processes.
• Implement governance and cost management practices to support organization-wide adoption of AI tools.
• Monitor infrastructure health and security posture with Datadog, creating dashboards and alerting systems.
• Deliver end-to-end visibility, actionable alerts, dependency monitoring, and automated remediation solutions.
• Consistently seek opportunities to reduce repetitive tasks through scripting, infrastructure-as-code, or AI-assisted tools.
• 4–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
• Strong practical experience with a leading cloud provider, such as AWS or Azure.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code, with a strong preference for Terraform.
• Solid skills in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Comfortable working within regulated or compliance-focused environments, including FedRAMP, IL5, SOC 2, or similar standards.
• A genuine interest in AI and automation tools, with a history of incorporating new tools to enhance workflows.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person or be eligible to access EAR-covered materials through an EAR exception or license.
• Must be capable of passing an SF-85 background check and securing public trust clearance if necessary.
• Nice to have: experience with n8n or Zapier.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
• Nice to have: experience assisting federal clients or working with federal compliance frameworks.
• Nice to have: experience with Datadog or a similar observability platform.
• Nice to have: experience in container hardening or security scanning, such as RapidFort.
