This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guidelines across relevant platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Create designs for federated identity, single sign-on (SSO), and cross-cloud authorization mechanisms.
• Architect networking solutions for cross-cloud environments, incorporating transit hubs, private connectivity, and zero-trust principles.
• Establish reusable infrastructure-as-code frameworks that abstract cloud-specific implementations when suitable.
• Define strategies for containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing across various providers.
• Develop data architecture strategies for cross-cloud data transfers, residency, and analytics.
• Lead initiatives for multi-cloud observability, security monitoring, and consistent policy enforcement.
• Implement FinOps practices across different cloud providers.
• Direct disaster recovery and business continuity strategies that span multiple clouds.
• Collaborate with security architects to design multi-cloud security frameworks, KMS strategies, and key management protocols.
• Advise engineering teams on cloud-agnostic versus cloud-native approaches.
• Produce architectural documentation including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs.
• Interact with cloud providers and partners to assess alignment with roadmaps.
• Evaluate developments in multi-cloud platforms and tools, translating advancements into recommendations and adoption strategies.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of experience in roles related to cloud architecture.
• Practical architecture experience with a minimum of two major cloud service providers.
• Profound knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security across multiple platforms.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code practices across various clouds.
• Proven experience designing federated identity and SSO solutions across cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud services.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Multiple cloud certifications from different providers.
• A demonstrated history of leading multi-cloud architecture projects.
• No new H1B sponsorship is available; however, current valid H1B visa holders who require transfer are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates must work directly as a full-time W2 employee; no C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements will be accepted.
• A technical coding assessment is a prerequisite.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing abstraction platforms such as Crossplane, Pulumi, or Terraform CDK.
• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability solutions.
• Preferred: Experience managing large-scale migrations between clouds.
• Preferred: Exposure to regulated industries with multi-cloud requirements.
