Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and manage services and applications within Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Oversee cloud maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, backups, and resource configuration across Azure and AWS environments.

• Develop and uphold processes for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and High Availability (HA) in collaboration with IT Operations and Development teams.

• Provide diagnostic assistance for hardware, networks, and software in cloud-based settings.

• Create and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multi-cloud infrastructure.

• Implement process enhancements to optimize Azure and AWS cloud environments.

• Participate in after-hours and on-call support rotations.

• Manage data standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Administer enterprise AI services such as Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock, including RBAC, networking, quotas, logging, and lifecycle management.

• Apply AI governance and security measures for data protection, access control, monitoring, audit logging, cost management, and compliance.

• Collaborate with IT R&D and IT Operations teams to improve cross-functional communication and boost operational efficiency.

• Obtain and maintain relevant certifications to keep pace with evolving technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud administration, specifically with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• 2+ years of experience with network configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

• Familiarity with Azure and AWS core services, cloud storage (Azure Blob/Files, AWS S3/EFS), Kubernetes, and resource management.

• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware, network, and software issues in cloud and hybrid environments.

• Capability to perform computer-based tasks for extended periods.
