Clinical Trials Nurse Navigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Guide patients through clinical trials and inform them about available trial options.

• Identify cancer clinical trial opportunities for patients.

• Coordinate the initial care of patients at UWCCC for participation in a clinical trial.

• Act as a liaison for patients, families, caregivers, referring providers, clinic staff, UWH Cancer Connect, and clinical trials personnel.

• Stay informed about UWCCC clinical trial operations, procedures, policies, oncology clinics, and related services.

• Assist in the recruitment and screening of clinical study subjects through physical health evaluations.

• Communicate effectively with participants, investigators, research sponsors, and research teams.

• Provide study information in accordance with research project standards and protocols.

• Offer treatment plan guidance and information to study participants.

• Share expertise, training, and support with the community, colleagues, and/or students.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) License is required by the position's start date.

• Prior experience in oncology nursing is mandatory.

• An Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.

• Previous experience in clinical research is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

• Must successfully complete an initial caregiver check under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years thereafter.

• Must maintain continuous eligibility to work in the United States.

• University sponsorship is not available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas.
