This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage a caseload of patients seeking enrollment in clinical trials independently.

• Evaluate patients and provide an objective overview of available treatment options, including clinical trial opportunities.

• Inform patients and their families about blood cancer diagnoses, standard treatments, and clinical trial possibilities.

• Assist patients in overcoming barriers to enrollment in clinical trials.

• Offer support to patients and families regarding decisions to discontinue treatment.

• Collaborate with Information Resource Center personnel to educate and support patients and their families.

• Act as a clinical trial consultant for the Information Resource Center.

• Provide expertise in clinical trials to the Patient and Professional Education team in the development of materials and programs.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of hematologic cancers, blood and bone marrow transplants, and the psychosocial aspects of cancer.

• Contribute to the improvement of processes within the Clinical Trial Support Center.

• Establish and nurture relationships with internal teams, trial-site staff, investigators, sponsors, and patient and professional organizations.

• Adhere to ethical standards and federal regulations related to human-subjects research.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.

• Current RN licensure is mandatory.

• Experience in oncology is preferred.

• Specialty training in Oncology/Hematology is preferred.

• OCN certification is preferred.

• Clinical research experience is preferred.

• A Master’s degree is preferred; a Master’s degree in a non-nursing discipline will be considered.

• Must possess the ability and desire to excel in both independent work and collaborative environments.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.

• A demonstrated commitment to independent learning and skill development is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and OneNote, is required.

• A reliable internet connection is necessary, with minimum download and upload speeds of 50 Mbps.
