Clinical Trial Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire process of investigator engagement, from identification and qualification to enrollment, database lock, and study closeout.

• Ensure investigators comprehend the intent of the protocol, the scientific rationale, and the criteria for patient eligibility.

• Build strategic relationships with investigators across various trials and therapeutic areas.

• Develop customized recruitment strategies and identify new opportunities to attract patients and expedite enrollment.

• Gather site insights to enhance feasibility, protocol design, and study execution.

• Lead the strategy and risk planning at the site level for enrollment and data delivery.

• Utilize performance metrics to foresee challenges and uphold clinical milestones.

• Promote readiness for inspections across sites.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to address operational challenges.

• Influence country/site selection and protocol localization by leveraging knowledge of local treatment paradigms and standard care practices.

• Provide oversight and quality assurance for vendor monitoring activities.

• Lead Post-Marketing Safety Studies when applicable.

• Cultivate a network of strategically aligned investigators.

• Conduct data-driven site prospecting and prioritization.

• Serve as a liaison between field teams, vendors, and investigators.

• Collaborate with field team colleagues to enhance investigator relationships and improve enrollment outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong preference for fields related to science, clinical studies, or healthcare.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience within clinical research or the pharmaceutical industry.

• Experience in direct interaction with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and clinical sites.

• Willingness to travel up to 60-80% during peak periods.

• Oncology experience is mandatory.

• Experience in Breast/Gyn is preferred.

• Legal authorization to work in the country in which this position is located.
