This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify training and development needs within Clinical Trial Delivery.
• Design and maintain role-specific training curricula, onboarding pathways, and learning plans.
• Create, revise, and standardize training materials, learning resources, assessments, and documentation.
• Ensure training content is compliant with regulations, company procedures, systems, and operational practices.
• Establish and manage a scalable training repository for Clinical Trial Delivery.
• Propose and execute training initiatives based on business requirements, process modifications, quality trends, and employee feedback.
• Conduct group and individual training sessions for both new and current employees.
• Facilitate various learning activities, including instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and hands-on sessions.
• Provide training on clinical trial processes, regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), systems, tools, and role-specific responsibilities.
• Organize refresher training sessions.
• Support onboarding programs by defining onboarding requirements and learning objectives.
• Monitor onboarding completion rates and assist with readiness assessments.
• Offer guidance to new hires during their onboarding and role transition phases.
• Encourage consistency in onboarding practices across various functions and regions.
• Act as a trainer, mentor, and resource for Clinical Trial Delivery staff.
• Provide coaching and facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practices.
• Engage in competency observation and evaluation activities.
• Accompany Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) on-site or remotely for observation and evaluation when appropriate.
• Coordinate and prioritize the daily activities of Coordinator Trainers.
• Assist in training budget planning and provide cost estimates along with business justifications.
• Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, competency evaluations, and quality metrics.
• Enhance training processes, materials, tools, and delivery methods.
• Aid in the adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational initiatives through training and change management.
• Participate in the development and review of SOPs, work instructions, templates, and controlled documents.
• Provide updates and recommendations to leadership in Clinical Trial Delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, clinical research, healthcare, education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and/or contract research organization (CRO) sectors.
• Prior experience in one or more Clinical Trial Delivery roles (e.g., Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Trial Manager, Project Manager, or other clinical operations or project delivery positions).
• Experience in delivering training, facilitating learning, coaching, mentoring, or supporting employee development.
• Background in developing training materials, onboarding programs, or role-based learning plans is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, Health Canada, FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements governing clinical research.
• Solid understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle, Clinical Trial Delivery processes, and cross-functional responsibilities.
• Capability to translate complex regulatory, operational, and technical information into practical and engaging learning experiences.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting to new technologies, systems, and industry practices.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French or another language is an advantage.
• Comfortable utilizing AI-powered tools and productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
