Clinical Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for clinical and operational healthcare applications.

• Evaluate clinical workflows and collect business requirements.

• Convert business needs into scalable technology solutions.

• Spearhead application implementation, upgrades, optimization, and enhancement projects.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams.

• Oversee testing, validation, deployment, training, and go-live processes.

• Monitor application health, data quality, and integration performance.

• Resolve complex application and system issues.

• Propel continuous improvement, change management, and digital transformation initiatives throughout healthcare operations.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and project workstreams.

• Mentor junior analysts and support staff.

• Contribute to departmental standards, governance, reusable documentation, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting, implementing, optimizing, or administering healthcare applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in supporting clinical applications, EHR/EMR platforms, laboratory systems, pharmacy systems, practice management systems, revenue cycle applications, or similar healthcare technologies.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and documenting current and future-state clinical workflows.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex application and system issues.

• Capability to lead moderately complex technology implementations or enhancement projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Skills in stakeholder management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred experience in oncology healthcare.

• Familiarity with Orchard Harvest, Epic, iKnowMed (iKM), or similar healthcare platforms is preferred.

• Experience in leading system optimization, modernization, migration, or integration initiatives is preferred.

• Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Experience in supporting revenue cycle workflows (IDX) and healthcare operations is preferred.

• Experience with change management, training, and user adoption programs is preferred.

• Participation in digital transformation and healthcare technology strategy initiatives is preferred.

• Position may require occasional travel for implementation, go-live, training, or stakeholder engagement activities.

• Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment while effectively supporting distributed clinical and operational teams.

• Capability to remain stationary for extended durations while working on a computer and engaging in virtual meetings.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, clinicians, and business stakeholders.
