Clinical Strategy Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with teams in healthcare facilities to evaluate organizations and clinical practices, identifying areas for improvement.

• Analyze trends in healthcare data and performance metrics to uncover opportunities for quality enhancement.

• Develop creative strategies aimed at improving service effectiveness, efficiency, and community health outcomes.

• Support the implementation of protocols, guidelines, and technologies designed to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.

• Cultivate relationships with physicians, nurses, administrators, and support staff.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines in partnership with the RHRC compliance team.

• Convert qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations for strategy.

• Assist in and co-lead strategic planning retreats and sessions for stakeholder alignment.

• Guide rural health leaders in formulating multi-year strategic plans.

• Develop and lead strategic leadership workshops.

• Monitor the execution of strategic and clinical plans through RHRC's online portal, ensuring accountability and providing coaching.

• Create educational materials, resources, tools, and online-module content for rural healthcare providers.

• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for hospital leaders, clinicians, ancillary staff, and other rural healthcare organizations.

• Employ adult learning principles to facilitate effective education delivery.

• Mentor and support participants in training programs.

• Evaluate educational programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

• Track and report on training outcomes and participant progress.

• Attend ongoing project-related meetings and other RHRC meetings as necessary.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare strategy and innovation, specifically in rural healthcare settings, access, and population health.

• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient healthcare environments.

• Specialized knowledge in telehealth, mental and behavioral health, chronic care management, or related fields.

• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for data visualization and the development of strategic dashboards.

• Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

• Experience in utilizing data to narrate stories and influence executive-level decision-making.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong facilitation abilities.

• Experience leading or facilitating strategic planning initiatives, preferably with rural health or community-based healthcare organizations.

• Comfortable in consultative environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary leadership teams.

• Knowledgeable in healthcare policy, regulatory requirements, and best practices in rural healthcare delivery.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives towards measurable population health outcomes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Service-oriented attitude.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Preferred: Master's degree in a health or business discipline (MHA, MPH, MBA).

• Preferred: Formal training or certification in strategy development, quality/process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma), or program evaluation.
