📋 Description

• Provide support for Neuromodulation Pain and Targeted Drug Delivery Therapies, encompassing surgical coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.

• Act as a device specialist for Medtronic during surgical procedures.

• Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and products.

• Offer technical support and aid in device selection.

• Engage in programming and testing of device systems.

• Manage patients throughout all stages of the clinical process and educate them about Medtronic products.

• Deliver clinical support during surgeries, reprogramming, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.

• Train and educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on products and therapies.

• Organize individual teaching sessions, formal in-services, educational programs, seminars, and external symposia.

• Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from customers and patients regarding devices.

• Attend clinical events beyond normal business hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

• Comply with company policies while completing necessary event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technological tools.

• Oversee inventory for case coverage, which includes managing transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, inventory turnover, and controls for product expiration/hold.

• Collaborate on quarterly district, regional, and national initiatives with colleagues and leadership.

• Regularly visit accounts to build and maintain relationships with office staff and healthcare providers.

• Process orders for pending purchase orders and product replacements.

• Coordinate with materials management to gather purchase orders for covered cases.

• Maintain knowledge of relevant quality policies and system items.

• Support management and sales training by assisting with the onboarding and training of new district employees.

• Utilize Excel, mobile phone, iPad, laptop, and/or Samsung tablet on a regular basis.

• Effectively manage business expenses and budgets within designated timelines.

• Travel within the district and occasionally to other districts as directed.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.

• Experience as a registered nurse or healthcare professional in a sterile environment is preferred.

• Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care is advantageous.

• Prior experience providing service to medical personnel on product utilization is desirable.

• Experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company, alongside clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, pain management, or home healthcare is a plus.

• Familiarity with basic reimbursement processes and the healthcare landscape is beneficial.

• Must adhere to universal healthcare precautions to reduce exposure to infectious diseases and radiation.

• Capability to act as a primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including occasional weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel.

• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal direction outside of clinical events.

• Willingness to attend national meetings, district meetings, and other training sessions.

• Capacity to wear a protective lead apron weighing 7–9 lbs for extended periods in the operating room.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Capability to sit, stand, and/or walk for over 8 hours per day.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Required to have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy.

• Should be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, which may involve overnight travel.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment.

• Foreign baccalaureate degrees must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
