This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Deliver technical, clinical, and programming support mainly for 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Provide after-hours call assistance and activities for Territory Managers.
• Integrate into accounts to foster trust, build relationships, and establish rapport with customers.
• Execute complex programming and case assistance.
• Collaborate effectively with Territory Managers to enhance their selling time.
• Conduct PCP work and educational in-services as needed.
• Reach out to, visit, and engage clients and potential clients regarding company offerings.
• Address inquiries and concerns from clients.
• Equip medical professionals with sales assistance, product details, training, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Cultivate and sustain thorough knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitor activities.
• Assess and formulate sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
• Investigate new and existing products and keep track of competitor sales, pricing, and products.
• Offer feedback on usage directions for implantable devices in both operating-room and non-operating-room settings.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as required.
• Identify customer training and in-service requirements to boost usage, comfort, and comprehension of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Provide sales assistance, clinical in-services, training, and support to current or prospective customers.
• Maintain positive communication and cooperation with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1–2 years of work experience, ideally in collaboration with patients in a clinical setting.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and educate on clinical data in the Chronic Pain Therapies field.
• Strong clinical competencies.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and to large audiences.
• Capable of developing strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Willingness to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice due to operating room schedule alterations or delays.
• Familiar with tight deadlines and adept at managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to function in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Capacity to work both as part of a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to complete projects.
• Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Capable of engaging customers in sales discussions as needed and as directed by the Territory Manager.
• Willingness to travel 25% within or outside the assigned region.
