This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Deliver technical, clinical, and programming support to 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Aid Territory Managers with after-hours call support and related activities.
• Integrate into accounts to cultivate trust and foster relationships with customers.
• Execute complex programming and case support tasks.
• Conduct PCP work and educational in-services as directed.
• Reach out, visit, and engage clients and potential clients regarding Company products.
• Offer medical professionals sales support, product information, training, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting assistance.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitor activity.
• Assess and formulate sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
• Gather and analyze information about products while monitoring competitor sales, prices, and offerings.
• Provide feedback to providers in both operating-room and non-operating-room settings on the usage of implantable devices.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as necessary.
• Identify customer training and in-service requirements to enhance usage, comfort, and understanding of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintain positive and collaborative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Travel 25% within or outside the designated region.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1–2 years of work experience, ideally in collaboration with patients in a clinical environment.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and educate clinical data within the Chronic Pain Therapies domain.
• Strong clinical competencies.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills at various levels and to large audiences.
• Ability to cultivate robust working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Capacity to adapt to an unpredictable schedule that may shift on short notice due to changes or delays in operating room schedules.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business setting.
• Capability to function both as a team member and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects effectively.
• Competence in engaging customers in sales conversations as required and directed by the Territory Manager.
