This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Offer technical, clinical, and programming support primarily for 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Assist Territory Managers with after-hours call support and related activities.
• Integrate into accounts, fostering trust and relationships while establishing rapport with customers.
• Execute complex programming and case support tasks.
• Conduct PCP work and educational in-services as requested.
• Reach out to, visit, and engage clients and potential clients regarding company products.
• Provide medical professionals with sales support, product information, training, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitive activities.
• Assess and formulate sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
• Investigate new and existing products while monitoring competitor sales, pricing, and offerings.
• Offer guidance in operating-room and non-operating-room settings on the use of implantable devices.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as required.
• Identify customer training and in-service requirements to enhance usage, comfort, and understanding of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, and company policies, procedures, processes, and assignments.
• Provide sales support, clinical in-services, training, and guidance to both current and potential customers.
• Collaborate with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Travel 25% within or outside the assigned region.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of work experience, ideally collaborating with patients in a clinical environment.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and instruct on clinical data within the Chronic Pain Therapies domain.
• Strong clinical competencies.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Superior interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in effective communication at various levels and to large groups.
• Capacity to build robust working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Flexibility to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice.
• Capability to manage tight deadlines and multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Proficiency in working both as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
• Skill in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals.
• Ability to engage customers in sales conversations as necessary.
• Preferred: experience in patient interaction within a healthcare-related setting.
• Preferred: experience in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience with Abbott, in a similar spinal cord stimulation context, or with another implantable medical device company.
