This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Deliver clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Educate surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide verbal support during training sessions.
• Acquire and uphold knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices along with hospital policies and procedures.
• Cultivate technical expertise to act as an educational resource.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and surgical kits, including conducting quality control audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Offer intra-operative clinical product assistance.
• Verify received and returned inventory against shipping documents.
• Reconcile inventory usage and identify missing inventory.
• Support procedural training for physicians and medical staff.
• Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager on account setup, clinical engagement, case support, clinical outcomes, staff education, and residency education.
• Ensure adherence to company quality, labeling, and healthcare professional interaction policies.
• Work together with Clinical Specialist teams on case presentations and knowledge sharing among peers.
• Report to the Regional Clinical Manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Clinical experience as a Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, or Laser Tech.
• Clinical Specialist II: 1–3 years of experience in the industry.
• Previous employment as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or experience with Mobile Litho Provider Companies.
• Clinical Specialist II/Sr.: Capability to provide intraoperative procedural guidance.
• Clinical Specialist II/Sr.: Willingness to travel beyond the designated territory.
• Sr. Clinical Specialist: 3+ years of full-time experience in a medical device company as a clinical specialist or a similar role focused on case coverage and patient outcomes.
• Sr. Clinical Specialist: Experience in intraoperative coaching.
• Sr. Clinical Specialist: Proficient in training staff and support personnel.
• Sr. Clinical Specialist: Proven track record of success; experience in urology is preferred.
• Familiarity with the medical device industry and sales processes/training.
• Experience in surgical techniques and sterile procedures within the operating room.
• Experience with fluoroscopy is advantageous.
• Strong desire for customer relationship management and procedural skill development.
• Degree or certification in a medical-related field is highly desirable, such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech.
• Must be able to travel by car up to 90% of the time.
• A valid US driver’s license is required.
• Compliance with applicable county, state, and federal vaccination regulations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
• Competitive salary.
