This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Deliver clinical case coverage as required.
• Educate surgical teams to promote optimal patient outcomes and provide verbal support during training sessions.
• Acquire and uphold knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices alongside hospital policies and procedures.
• Cultivate technical expertise to act as an educational resource.
• Interact appropriately with hospital service providers.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and kits, including conducting quality control audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Offer intra-operative clinical product support.
• Verify that received and returned inventory aligns with shipping documents.
• Reconcile inventory usage and address any missing inventory issues.
• Assist with procedural training for physicians and medical personnel.
• Support physician and sales training initiatives.
• Actively participate as a valuable member of the commercial team to ensure favorable clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager on account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and achieving clinical outcomes.
• Aid in the education of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), office personnel, and hospital staff.
• Facilitate and support residency education in partnership with the Territory Sales Manager.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, promotional guidelines, and interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with Clinical Specialist teams on case presentations and peer knowledge sharing.
• Report directly to the Regional Clinical Manager (RCM).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Preferred candidates will reside in the designated geographical area.
• Clinical experience such as Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, or Laser Tech is required.
• For Clinical Specialist II: 1–3 years of industry experience is necessary.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist with a medical device company or with Mobile Litho Provider Companies is essential.
• Capability to provide intraoperative procedural direction is required.
• Willingness to travel beyond the assigned territory is necessary.
• For Sr. Clinical Specialist: 3+ years of full-time experience with a medical device company in a clinical specialist role or a similar position focusing on case coverage and patient outcomes.
• Experience in intraoperative coaching is advantageous.
• Proficiency in staff and support training is required.
• A proven track record of success; experience in urology is preferred.
• Familiarity with the medical device industry is essential.
• Understanding of sales processes and training is necessary.
• Experience in surgical techniques and sterile procedures within the operating room is required.
• Experience using fluoroscopy is a plus.
• Strong customer relationship management and procedural skill development are highly sought after.
• A degree or certification in a medical-related field is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to travel by car up to 90% of the time.
• A valid US driver's license is mandatory.
• Compliance with applicable county, state, and federal vaccination regulations is required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite.
• Must verify identity and work eligibility in the United States and complete necessary employment eligibility verification upon hire.
• Annual Variable Bonus: $20,000.
• Auto Allowance: $9,600.
