This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Cultivate relationships with endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and diabetes management teams.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding diabetes management, technologies, and treatment methodologies.
• Engage in local diabetes care events and initiatives.
• Organize and conduct tailored patient training sessions on Insulet products.
• Assess patient requirements and tailor training programs accordingly.
• Offer follow-up consultations, troubleshooting assistance, and continuous patient education.
• Ensure patient training aligns with the clinical treatment plans established by healthcare providers.
• Clarify device features, functionalities, and recommended practices.
• Evaluate and suggest Certified Pod Trainers for consultancy roles.
• Supervise Certified Pod Trainers, offering product updates and clinical support.
• Utilize data sources to guide educational strategies and team initiatives.
• Maintain Salesforce and other data systems to track training metrics.
• Oversee administrative operations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
• Advocate for insulin pump therapy to both providers and patients using clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with territory partners to meet shared sales objectives.
• Leverage patient success narratives and clinical sales techniques to enhance product adoption.
• Implement strategic, patient-focused field sales activities within defined guidelines.
• Associate degree.
• 2+ years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current professional credentials and/or certifications, such as Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Nurse (RN), PharmD, or other clinical certifications.
• State licensure as mandated by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in influencing and collaborating with others.
• Proven ability to educate both providers and patients in a clinical environment.
• Capability to resolve complex issues and take suitable actions.
• Proficient in executing territory business strategies.
• Familiarity with large data systems and personal devices, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
• Must reside within the designated geographic area of the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel frequently by car within the assigned geographic region.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 30 lbs.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in conducting clinical training and/or managing insulin pump patients.
• Preferred: Previous commercial experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
