This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Increase revenue through both new business development and account management within the designated territory.
• Market and sell Toxicology, Capital Equipment, MAS Clinical Chemistry Quality Controls, AcroMetrix Molecular Controls, ISD/TDM Product Line, Lab Link xL, and Biomarkers products.
• Execute direct sales and oversee all phases of the sales cycle.
• Utilize professional, consultative, and strategic selling techniques with both existing and potential clients.
• Create business plans for key accounts and report on progress to the Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with distribution channel partners to enhance and support business operations.
• Set customer pricing, provide quotes, draft bid documents, process specifications, and complete necessary reports.
• Foster relationships with personnel from business units, service and technical support, marketing, and purchasing departments.
• Contribute to sales forecasting and projections for reagents and instruments.
• Participate in trade shows and support booth staffing efforts.
• Utilize Salesforce.com CRM to manage accounts, qualify leads, respond to inquiries, and maintain precise activity logs.
• Engage regularly with Sales Managers, Field Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in sales.
• At least 2 years of proven field sales experience, ideally within diagnostic markets.
• Capability to plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to provide detailed and timely reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
• Keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective prioritization abilities.
• Unwavering integrity and ethical standards.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Capability to travel without restrictions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for group presentations, customer sales pitches, and intercompany interactions.
• Valid driver’s license.
