Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD/PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly patients through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with assistance from the care team.

• Maintain documentation in the EMR utilizing AI-enhanced notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Conduct telehealth therapy entirely from a home setting.

• Work collaboratively with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.

• Current, independent license to practice psychology in the state where this position is offered.

• Prior experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• For 1099 contractor positions, availability must begin at 15 hours per week.

• For W2 employee positions, availability must begin at 25 hours per week.

• Clinicians should aim to conduct at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.
