Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to seniors through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's objectives and requirements.

• Handle an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the support of a care team.

• Complete documentation in the EMR system utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular paid case consultations with skilled clinical leaders.

• Assist older adults dealing with grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions.

• Collaborate with Clinical Quality Leads, Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, and provider support staff.

• Deliver Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy through Sailor Health’s mental healthcare model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.

• Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the position is located.

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is a plus.

• 1099 contractor roles begin at 15 hours per week.

• W2 employee roles start at 25 hours per week.

• A minimum of 15 weekly sessions is required with Sailor Health.

• Must possess at least one active, unrestricted license that allows for independent practice without clinical supervision.

• Required application details include states where unrestricted independent licenses are held and the types of licenses.
