Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Provide psychotherapy based on evidence for older adults through telehealth.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Handle an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the assistance of the care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Deliver healthcare services entirely from home.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates to address patients’ non-clinical needs.

• Sustain a consistent flow of referrals for patients nationwide across all 50 states.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a program accredited by the APA.

• Active and independent license to practice psychology in the state where this position is located.

• Preference for experience with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is a plus.

• Part-time clinicians are required to start with a minimum of 15 hours per week as 1099 contractors.

• W2 employees must begin with at least 25 hours per week.

• Clinicians should aim to conduct a minimum of 15 sessions weekly.

• Must possess at least one active, unrestricted license permitting independent practice without clinical supervision.

• License states and types must be provided.

• Medicare opt-out status must be disclosed.

• Availability for client sessions should be indicated.
