Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth platforms.

• Create personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient's objectives and requirements.

• Manage an independent caseload while making clinical decisions with the support of the care team.

• Complete documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) using AI-assisted notes.

• Engage in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Conduct telehealth therapy entirely from a home setting.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators and Healthcare Advocates who address patients’ non-clinical needs.

• Work alongside Clinical Quality Leads and the provider support team.

• Provide therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults covered by Medicare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a program accredited by the APA.

• Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the position is offered.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week.

• Availability as a W2 employee beginning at 25 hours per week.

• Commitment to at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• PSYPACT authorization through APIT may be applicable to clinical psychologists.

• Counseling Compact privileges may be available for master’s-level therapists in certain states.
