Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly individuals through telehealth platforms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with assistance from the care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-supported notes.

• Engage in regular paid case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Offer care through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy services.

• Collaborate with Clinical Quality Leads, Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, and provider support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.

• Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the position is offered.

• Preference for experience with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is a plus.

• Must commit to at least 15 hours per week as a 1099 contractor or 25 hours per week as a W2 employee.

• Active, unrestricted license enabling independent practice without clinical supervision.

• State licensure corresponding to the applicable state of practice.

• PSYPACT authorization through APIT or Counseling Compact privileges may be applicable based on clinician type and state.
