Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults using telehealth platforms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload while making clinical decisions with assistance from the care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-assisted note-taking.

• Engage in regular compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide care entirely from a remote setting.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and the provider support team.

• Assist older adults through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a program accredited by the APA.

• An active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where the position is advertised.

• Preferred experience with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Medicare billing experience is advantageous.

• For 1099 contractor positions, a minimum of 15 hours per week is required.

• For W2 employee positions, a minimum of 25 hours per week is required.

• Must seek to conduct at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• Must possess at least one active and unrestricted license that permits independent practice without clinical supervision.

• Must provide details of mental health license type and the states of unrestricted, fully independent licensure.

• Must disclose Medicare opt-out status.

• Must detail geriatric patient experience.
